Recommended Resources

A note on why I am recommending these resources

So much of who we are and how we experience the world is a compilation of our lived experiences. Sometimes we've received messages repeatedly that tell us who we ought to be and what we ought to be feeling at any given moment, and sometimes those messages are toxic and damaging. Change isn't easy, and dosage can be key to healing. What do I mean by "dosage?" Well, sometimes we require practice and exposure to different narratives to become comfortable with a new perspective and to become comfortable with change. Where you are and how you are feeling right now did not likely happen over night, and healing will require ample time as well. Below I've included some resources that I think could be helpful to you and your healing process. Feel free to use these resources before, during, or after therapy to support long-term change, and feel free to talk with me about additional resources for your specific needs!
