Services & Cost

Initial Consultation (50 minutes) - $150*

What to expect: Initial consultations are a time for you and me to get to know each other, for you to determine whether therapy is right for you, and for you to decide whether I'm the right therapist for you. Therapy can be an intimidating process, the initial session is a no obligation session where I will provide you information, answer questions you may have, and get to know your background. I'll provide you an assessment packet for you to complete prior to session that will give me basic information about you and your history and will identify some challenges you are facing. After that session, we can determine whether and how you'd like to proceed.

Individual, Couple, or Family Therapy Session (50 minutes) - $150*

What to expect: Individual, couple, or family therapy sessions will be individualized to meet your specific needs. We will work together in therapy to identify your goals and to determine what you would like to be different in your life. I will work with you to design a treatment plan unique to you. I will work with you at a pace that you are comfortable with, but may also challenge you at times. Through this process, it's important that you know that therapy is a two-way street, and your feedback about the process is always welcome. Therapy works best when we can have open communication, and can be good practice for everyday life.

Drug & Alcohol Evaluation (1.5 to 2.5 hours) - $400

What to expect: If drug and/or alcohol use is part of the presenting concern, it's a good idea that we conduct a structured drug and alcohol evaluation. Substances have a unique interaction with our bodies, and addiction can be a progressive and resistant problem. Because of that, in order for me to give you the best quality of care, it's important for me to do a structured assessment of any biological, psychological, or social stressors that might be impacting the substance use. You may request one, or I may recommend one if it becomes apparent during our treatment that it would be beneficial.

Cost Comparisons

The duration of therapy depends on a variety of factors, including your specific goals, the severity of the challenges you're facing, and the amount of investment you make in the process. On average, therapy tends to last 10-15 sessions. It can be difficult to rationalize the cost at times, but I promise you, your mental and relational health are worth it. There are several expenses in life that we recognize are non-negotiable or just rationalize as worth it. Let me ask you this, is your mental or relational health really worth less than these?
